These are worth the price. I cried when I forked over the $$ for these, but when I started to use them... They really work and work well. I have been using them for eight years, usually five days a week. My previous suspenders were the nylon clipons. I was always tugging at them. One side would be slack, or the other. Never comfortable. These are very comfortable and well built. After the break in period, I fastened the straps to the yoke with binder posts (included). I am 6'0 and wear the bags not at waist level, but below... more info
Very comfortable. Can't work without them anymore. I bought these in 2000. Still using the original set. They've held up really well. I'd never used suspenders before I got this and didn't know what a difference they made. Now I can't wear the bags without them. I have them permanantly fastened to my belt. Aside of this, I still wear it cause it's hard to find a alternative system with... more info
If only more products worked this well.... I'll admit it--I'm a snake-hipped electrician. You've all seen it before: toolbelt working the pants down towards the knees, tidy whities riding high. It's not a pretty sight. I had tried the usual suspenders that can't take the load, always get in the way, and come unclipped at a strong glance. When I first heard about the Stronghold suspension system, I was definitely interested--if a little leery of the $70 price tag. That's almost what I had invested in my whole toolbelt. Well, I took the leap and... more info
