1 saw stand; saw not included; optional extensions available
Editorial Review:
This basic stand extends rip capacity to 27 inches while increasing fence accuracy of benchtop table saws. The folding legs bring the saw up to a comfortable working height of 34-1/2 inches. The high-pressure laminate top increases the work surface of the saw by nearly 90%. Setup and breakdown of the unit are extremely quick. Once the saw, fence, and hairline indicator have been calibrated, the line-up system returns the saw to its original setting, ready for use. For use with Makita model no. 2703, Hitachi model no. C10RA, and DeWalt model no. DW744.
Benchtop table saws have come a long way in the past few years, evolving into precision machinery for even the finest joinery. Here's a stand that's worthy of those little dynamos. It's preset for several models of Makita, Hitachi, DeWalt, and Delta, but it's easily adapted for saws with tops up to 24-1/2 inches deep and 27 inches wide. This is by far the sturdiest benchtop accessory we've seen, with the best array of options. At a great working height of 34-1/2 inches, you'll increase your rip capacity to a burly 27 inches and won't have to call your next-door neighbor anymore to give you a hand when you're cutting sheet goods. The fence is tubular steel with an adjustable magnified hairline indicator for superior readability. Something we noticed and really liked on this stand was that the front edge sits just a bit lower than the saw table, so stock slides smooth as silk without catching. The optional add-ons are great, too: the PM2715XL extension adds a router table to your saw and increases rip capacity to an awesome 49 inches. An outfeed table is available, too. And should you need to, the saw removes easily and the stand folds flat for storage and portability. A winner all the way around. --Kris Jensen-Van Heste

just great works great, can't complain at all, love the fence. Makes my inexpensive Makita saw worth 10 times as much. Well built and compact. mounting system returns the saw to square each time I fold up for transport and set up.
Stairs Top 20 I bought my Rousseau 2700 saw stand ten years ago. I'm a professional Trim carpenter & use this stand with my 2708 8 1/4" makita table saw 5 days a week 52 weeks a year . I have replaced the table top with a new plastic top. It's still very acurate And cuts square. I have bought a new one for a 10" makita table saw because I need 2 table saws. Thanks Rousseau for a great product.
Leveling table to saw Leveling the saw to the stand was an issue but took litle time. Once leveled, no other adjustments are ever neccessary (with the same saw). It's quiet easy to remove the table from the stand and shim, as required, with washers.
wonderful My husband and son both own this and just love it. It is very useful to them with their saws. Would recommend it to anyone who is in construction and has a table saw.
