The Original Little Giant Ladder -- As Seen on TV! The Little Giant Type 1A ladder system offers the versatility of 24 ladders in one - allowing it to be safely used on stairs, ramps, curbs, docks, or other uneven surfaces. The Little Giant Type 1A system is made of heavy-wall 6005-T5 aircraft quaility aluminum, is rated to support 300 pounds (though it has been tested to hold four times that amount) and comes with a lifetime conditional warranty.
Look high and low, but you're not going to find a better ladder than this one. Not only is it incredibly stable when extended, it takes the place of seven ladders and two trestles, and you won't even break a sweat converting it. Two outer ladders telescope over the inner unit, and a locking center hinge on the inner ladder makes the A-frame possible without spreader bars or braces. The locking assembly was smooth and positive in our trials; the inner ladder slid freely and easily. Transforming the ladder from one configuration to another was no struggle at all. The inner and outer side rails are made of aircraft-grade aluminum; slip-resistant rungs and feet made us feel like we hadn't left the ground. Yes, it costs a bit more than other ladders, but you get what you pay for. This ladder will last a lifetime, and it's the only one you'll ever need. --Kris Jensen-Van Heste

Great Ladder! Best ladder I ever owned! I used it the day it arrived to do some repairs around the house. The only problem I have is that many others want to borrow it! Great price and fast shipping from Amazon.com!
Decent ladder but NOT for the Girly Man!! I bought this ladder to replace and old light duty 20ft extension ladder that i had in the garage that just wasnt long enough or strong enough.I read all the reviews on this ladder before i bought it and all i kept hearing is "this ladder is too heavy" or "it a pain to lug around".Well the people are right it is heavy and it is a pain to lug around however if someone wanted a light ladder they should have bought a lighter duty one.Little Giant says its a HEAVY duty muti-ladder hence its "Heavy"!DUH!So... more info
Excellent ladder at a reasonable price This is the best made, most sturdy ladder we have ever owned. This is our second purchase of a Little Giant. We originally purchased the 17' ladder because we have a regular aluminum extension ladder and didn't want to spend too much money. My husband actually didn't want to order it because of the price. I ordered it anyway because I did not feel comfortable with him climbing our extension ladder while I was at the bottom bracing it to keep it steady. After using the Little Giant ladder and experiencing... more info
Very solid but weight is a big minus A super-solid ladder in stepladder mode: it's like standing on stairs, and that's great for such things as pressure washing the second story of a house. This will get your feet up 6-8' or so and rock solid. That said, this weighs a LOT, and it isn't easy to fit into tight spaces. Also, I need full-extension mode to reach my second-story roofline. My dog's fetch ball got up there two days ago, and I'm not looking forward to setting this unit up for that two-second task. Unlike a telescoping extension... more info
