As the beans sprout and grow, you can cut and shape them so they look like miniature trees. Kit Includes: special planter; paints (three colors); seeds and beans; green pebbles, rocks, shells and plastic animals.
For kids who want to experience the magic of growing their own garden, this kit is a fun and inventive experience. It contains everything you need to grow a small terrarium complete with an entire community of tiny fantastical inhabitants. Paint the special planter with the paints (three primary colors included), fill with soil, and then plant the enclosed beans and grass seeds. Then it's time to arrange the tiny fairy cottage, use the green pebbles to make a tiny path, and decorate the garden with the rocks, shells, and plastic animals that come with the kit. As the beans sprout and grow, you can cut and shape them so they look like miniature trees--and for variety, add pepper, lemon, cantaloupe, and tomato seeds and watch just what comes up. --John Longenbaugh

Great for children Children learn to plant their own garden with small figures and treasures and watch the plants grow quickly.
Good idea but didn't work out that well for us It was fun setting it up but it actually got MOLDY! ewww. I think it's because it's a closed container or my daughter just got carried away with watering? Anyway, it got gross pretty fast :(
The gift that keeps giving We also gave this to our daughter for Christmas, and I have to echo the praise. In the age of noisy, easily broken, and battery-powered junk toys that get abandoned by New Year's, this one is a real winner. My daughter and I spent a fun afternoon during her winter break from school arranging and planting her Wee Enchanted Garden. The best part is, she can water it and check each day to see how much progress it's making as it grows! What a great idea. She loves it. Also recommended -- the Medieval Garden,... more info
So much fun!! My kids and I had a great time doing this. And the grass grew so fast we didn't have to wait long to enjoy it! I loved it as much as they did.
