One of the Best I'm new to the inkle loom and weaving in general. This book was recommended to me and I have found it to be thorough, easy to follow, and filled with ideas. If you are new to the Inkle I would highly recommend this book. The only thing I wish there was more of is different inkle projects that can be made on the loom.

Excellent basic book on how to weave belts, trim, straps.... This is considered the inkle weavers bible by my friends in the Society for Creative Anachronism, a Medieval recreation group. The only one they recommended. This and Card Weaving Card Weaving is a good basic set for anyone you know who has just bought or built a loom. If you to delve deeper and need historical documentation and references: works by Collingwood and Nancy Spies are excellent sources. Great for new inkler I was told by SCA Inkle weavers that this was the best place to start. Wow were they right! Great patters, pictures, and clear instructions too. I'm so excited about my new hobby. Enjoy.
