The Best Book On Gardening I you only buy one book on gardening, this is the one to buy. I refer to this book constantly. Sometimes I will even write down the names of plants I am interested in, and look them up, before deciding to buy them. This book is a great resource!
Garden Book I found this to be a very good instructional garden book for my daughter who just bought a house in California. A lot of pictures along with all kinds of information for a new gardner.
The Bible!! This book has everything about plants. I had an earlier edition (1977) and thought it would be good to update. A very useful tool for gardeners.
Sunset Western Garden Book This is the "Bible" of Western gardening, and I have owned various editions myself over the years. This was purchased as a gift.
