Customer Review:
Set in contemporary suburbia, young Victor Frankenstein happily plays with his aptly named bull terrier "Sparky", when the tragic happens... the spunky pooch is hit and killed by a car. Crushed, Victor struggles to acclimate to life without him, when he receives the bright Promethian idea to... more info

Customer Review:
Visually, I would rate this film five stars. And, I'm certain, that those reviewers who see past this film's flaws and award the film four or five stars are rewarding the stunning visuals. But, dramatically, its barely a three (and that's being generous), because, unfortunatley, it seems, that... more info

Customer Review:
I'm woefully underqualified to review a master classic movie like this. I watched it for the first time in 2008, and it is not dated in the least. It managed to scare, thrill and keep me glued to the screen. Excellent story, characters, scenery, just about everything. A classic horror film.

Customer Review:
My younger sister was obsessed with this movie when we were growing up, so I've probably seen it at least fifty times. Now, as an adult, it's great to watch it again because I realize how many huge stars were in it playing bit parts. Really fun movie...I wish they would re-release it to DVD!

Customer Review:
Woody Allen has gotten stranger and more twisted over the years. This was one of his best movies. It's a romantic comedy, with the comedy being more in the dialog rather than antics.

| | 7. | | Johnny Appleseed from 20th Century Fox
Customer Review:
The product description of "classic American folk tale" might lead one to believe that this movie is the legend of Johnny Appleseed, when in fact, it is not based on the legend nor on the factual life of Johnny Chapman. It is instead, a farcical adaptation that, even with the great talents of Martin... more info

Customer Review:
I saw this movie when it came out, and stayed in the theater to see it over again in the hope of understanding at least what was going on. After all, it was Altman, for whom straightforward movies like M*A*S*H are a rarity. But, nada. Bud Cort is an appealing guy who deserved a better career, and... more info

Customer Review:
A great fun movie for the early teen. As a 6th grade teacher I use it in mid February (Valentine's Day)and near the science fair time, as a "Frog Love Story". It is based on the idea that a nerd (science student) buys a frog who was once a Prince. Of course the frog wants to be kissed (and turned... more info
